Why Coaching?
The realization of neurodivergence late in life can have a big ripple effect. Sometimes it can be quite turbulent for your work, your relationships, or your sense of self.
And on top of that, you have to learn new skills, vocabulary, and ways of coping without a manual or even a roadmap.
Or, maybe you’ve just received a diagnosis and you’re thinking, “now what?”
What’s a stressed out, overextended neurodivergent to do?
That’s where coaching can help
Coaching can help you:
Develop your toolbox of coping skills (it’s more than just fidget toys!)
Discover your needs as a neurodivergent…what you really need underneath the mask
Let go of blame, shame, and guilt and quiet the inner neurotypical
Confidently ask for accommodations from work, friends, and family
Ease the cycle of stress, overwhelm, and anxiety
Reconnect with your joys, passions and strengths
It’s one thing to have the knowledge of your neurodivergence, and it’s another to actually implement that knowledge in a way that will make your life easier and reduce stress and overwhelm.
Through coaching, you’ll develop systems and skills that will center your neurodivergence and build off of your unique neurodivergent traits so that the changes you make will actually stick in the long term.
No one-size-fits-all tools or recommendations. I meet every client where they are.
No buying “the right planner”, or “just working harder”. My approach is very neurodivergence-affirming.
